My wife and I were in Savannah this past Saturday. No plans for an overnight, but in search of a good restaurant. Though we weren't guests at the Mansion, Katie (front desk supervisor) treated us with gracious warmth, welcome and utmost helpfulness. She called and got us last-minute dinner reservations and extended an invitation to visit the Mansion afterwards for jazz. The Mansion delighted our senses and whetted our appetite to return for a full-immersion visit soon. The art, ambiance and atmosphere are simply stunning and thoroughly sensational. My wife and I are seasoned travelers with a preference for the very best – Ritz Carltons, Four Seasons, St. Regis, etc. And though we only enjoyed a glimpse of the Mansion, we now anticipate a long and memorable relationship there (and at other jewels in the Kessler Collection I'm sure, too).

We want to extend our heart felt thanks for such impeccable service, especially since ours was such a last minute (such an understatement) meeting. My manager, her VP and the attendees were so impressed with your hotel, the attention to detail, the restaurant and your ability to work with us in such a small time frame that she’s stated going back to the Mansion on Forsyth Park is a top priority. Kudos to you for helping us make this meeting such a success.

Consider the audience at this week's Meeting Mentor sales meeting. In his distinguished career, Eddie Webster has been CEO of four convention and visitor bureaus. Roy Evans was the President of the Professional Convention Management Association for 18 years. I've been editing meeting publications since 1976. Individually and collectively, we've seen it all. Or so we thought. To call the Mansion extraordinary or unique simply does not do it justice; a more accurate description would be to describe it, in a word as experiential. From the moment you walk in the door, there's a sense of another time, a different place, a great escape. Where else can you watch four weddings in the span of two days? Of course, we also had some serious work to do. Our meeting was handled flawlessly. The staff--including the National Guard unit you were training for duty in Iraq--was uniformly outstanding. On behalf of our team, thanks to you personally and your team for providing a truly memorable experience.

We had a great meeting at your hotel last week. Savannah is a wonderful area, and your facility is the perfect venue. I wanted to especially thank Tim Washinski for all his attention and help. He assisted us in various ways with the meeting room needs, meals, answering all our questions, and best of all just being there to be sure it all went well. We were all impressed with the staff, but Tim stands out for extraordinary service. Thank you again for a great meeting venue!

We had a great time at the Mansion. We could not have asked for better weather, which made it very enjoyable for our outdoor events in the garden. The food at 700 Drayton was excellent and was enjoyed by many in the group on Thursday evening. Of course we all enjoyed the lounge as well. Everyone enjoyed their guestroom; I did not hear one complaint, which is somewhat unusual for this group. There were a couple of weddings in Forsyth Park which was fun to see; one had their reception at the Mansion on Saturday evening.

The hotel could not have been more beautiful and inviting and your staff does nothging but highlight this fact. Your city and hotel were truly the highlights of a great Team meeting.
If Savannah is a city you can consider for upcoming meetings, then you really must consider the Mansion on Forsyth Park. Not only was the service (on all levels) some of the BEST I have ever experienced; their food, the location, the employees - everything was great. The hotel is simply a work of art in itself, but everywhere you go in the hotel and the property surrounding it, there is such a great attention to detail. It is simply out of this world. The city and the hotel are a must see/must stay location.

I cannot tell you how many glowing accolades I have received over our meeting at the Mansion. Everyone just enjoyed themselves more than you will know. I wanted to write a personal note to tell how much I enjoyed myself and how delightful the staff was to work with. All the staff was all so professional in every way, and my comfort level was high with the plans we made and the service I knew we were going to receive. I felt like we were all friends and co-workers... it was really nice.
